Fog can be a nuisance. But for this Monomad challenge, I'm revisiting a different kind of fog. The good kind, the one that creeps over the mountains, the one that makes an already good scenery, even better.
The show is beautiful anywhere you are in the world; being in a national park in Malaysia:
Or really close to home, in the neighbour country:
I've always enjoyed this feeling of being above the clouds, and seeing how they embrace the surrounding mountains, creating that magic atmosphere. And it's been long since I had that feeling, although I still remember it very well: the last new country I visited before the world went upside down, la bella Italia.
After hiking to the top of Mount Boletto, being presented with this view was the cherry on top.
More fog in one side, less foggy on the other side; you could even choose the setting!
What could also blend in in this monochromatic landscape? A real life monomad! A hooded crow was perching, not that far from the mountain top, scouting the surroundings.
Perfect combination, wildlife and nature landscapes. Even in black and white!
