It seems that we are in trouble here.
A short break in the rain yesterday and we rushed to a local park.
Rare ‘Level 8 weather warnings’ issued for SA, winds up to 140km/h forecast
We received a storm level 8 warning this morning and you can read more about the news Here
We have heard about these winds, but have not seen it yet during our 3 year stay here.
Right now there are severe gusts of wind that bend the trees, but later on today matters will deteriorate. High sided vehicles are warned not to use the roads today.
This is "The Cape of Storms"
So here below I will take you with us on our way to the park yesterday afternoon.
This is the place where the clouds rest on the ground.
The next 3 photos are all landscapes of what our eyes saw at the park.
Beautiful scenes of land, mountains, cloud and sky and we are blessed to be so close to these artworks of nature.
This coming storm later today has us worried about the little animals that we have here and we are loading them all with food today.
This is our rescued Pied Crow this morning and the good news is that "Sassy" is dry and eating.
A guy from the Wildlife Rescue department will collect Sassy later today and hopefully they can make an artifcial foot for her.
And That's All Friends!
