Barcelona metro area has been sufering its biggest rain storm i history. More than 200 liters/square metter in a few hours in many cities.
Trains are out of service since 8pm past night untill today at 2pm and citizens are recommended t stay home unless strictly necessary as there are floods all over. Alarm messages were sent to cellphones yesterday afternoon and again this morning as rain stops and starts strongly again after several minutes.
We were out for the weekend and may have to stay in our hotel some more hours before allowed to frive back home.
I ve been awake all night listening to the news on the radio as our hometown have suffered several water damages.
We will probably have to wait several hours in the hotel before driving back as there is risk of accidents all over due to water and power going on and off.
It reminds me of Covid lockdown period.. I hope everything is fine in the house when we are back.
