I love the character effect of sunrays in photos.
So now in here, I have 10 shots to show you what I mean. We are always on the lookout for something special in the sky and in nature to share on my blog. Remember that they say that whatever you put into your blog on the blockchain will last forever. I have 6 grandchildren and maybe one day their children's children will also want to see this, I hope.
In any case, this is a post of sunrays, and their streaming beauty in the pictures. At times a sunray can contrast colors in a picture as you see in the above two photos, and at other times it can simply enhance the colors of a photo. You will see the beauty of the colors, and it has a very peaceful effect on my mind, almost like a flashlight from heaven.
You will notice that I posted the photos in pairs (2 of each) as that is how I took it on the camera, and thankfully they downloaded fine on the PC. I have said it before, and I will say it again. The naked eye can see so much better than objects taken through a lens. But I think you will agree that these did not come out too badly.
This shot below was the only time that the sun almost showed its full face.
And here are the two shots below of what I call a flashlight from heaven.
It lit up something on that hill, but it was too dense for me to see. Maybe lights below the mountain.
Almost, as I thought that the sun would drop down below the cloud, but not so as the cloud dropped down to block the sun.
Finally, that was it as things went dark soon afterwards.
I really didn't want it to get dark so soon, as I was really enjoying the views, but one just has to accept the conditions and to move on. I have also taken some photos earlier, before the sunset that will be on show another time. We are having crazy weather here, and the news is that we will be in trouble soon as we are supposed to be in the rainy season, but the rain is staying away. We are in a water scarce country, even though we have regular floods here when it rains, but they reckon that if we don't get more rain then we are heading for a drought in summer.
Such is life.
