Some are woken by rooster crow, how's about an alarm call of a guinea fowl on a telephone pole?
Early morning as the sun is starting to arrive and the silence is broken by the guinea's alarms about some marauding falcons during the early hours. I could not get the falcons on camera due to bad early light and they were too high.
Join us on this outing for some brunch after church today.
Let's have a look!
Half shade and half sun as it's slowly rising!
Some birds sitting to warm up in a palm tree!
A beautiful flower basking in the early light!
Saw this duck in its cleaning ritual for the day!
Ah! The duck took off to fetch his girlfriend!
An order of croissant, cheese and jam/jelly!
It seems that someone else was interested in something sweet!
I had to watch so that he didn't fall in!
And here were a couple of clients peeping at people!
A late edit; Here's our full moon in Africa tonight!
Taken now at 18:29 hrs.
We had the day off as Marian's sister arrived in the Cape and her parents were visiting with them for the day. After the brunch we went home and relaxed for the day. Family always comes first and although most of mine are gone, my in-laws have become my family. I have one sister left, but she lives far away.
Hope you have enjoyed the Sunday outing as much as we have and until next time, Au revoir.
Thank you for the visit to @papilloncharity
