Hello, I give a warm welcome to all the artists, bohemians and free thinkers of this great community of Hive.
Today I want to invite you to participate in a journey in the timeline where you will know about my artistic stage influenced by gothic art and culture.
Some years ago in my city there were Otaku and anime conventions which I loved to attend. At that time I was also a Cello player in the youth symphony orchestra of my city and I listened to a lot of Gothic Rock like Apocalyptica, Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil.
Gothic Inspiration
By that time a group of gothic artists in the city were making their move at Expo Otakus and using the networks to let people know more about their art and their lives. In that group of artists was the great Enys Guerrero, Zoimar Lezama, Paul Santana among others.
I was fascinated by how they made art their lifestyle and a way to generate income, so I decided to enter the art world in a more professional way.
I started to practice and practice and many times I would ask some of them for advice. I loved their styles and thanks to them I discovered great artists like Luis Royo and Victoria Francés who is a Spanish artist famous for her illustrated saga of vampires.
Luis Royo stood out for his post apocalyptic girls of great beauty with erotic connotations. On the other hand, Victoria Francés enchanted me. I fell in love with every scene, the landscapes, the Victorian era that stood out in her creations and from there, the inspiration to create art with gothic nuances, with period clothing or even vampires was emerging.
The Girl in the Red Cloak" (2015)
I want to confess that this type of art was very sought after, since every original piece I made in this theme and that I exhibit today was sold to collectors in other countries such as the United States and England.
I was delighted, my first piece exhibited in an art collective that held monthly auctions was a success and was sold shortly after being published. That for me was a good sign that I would continue on the artistic path I was just embarking on.
Vamp Girl (2014)
Although I enjoyed color, at this stage my drawings did not have so much saturation and colors such as black, red and blue predominated a lot, many times with melancholic tints.
The Moon (2016)
The techniques used were the same that I usually use now, colored pencils, pen, watercolors and oil pastels, in short all a mixed technique that I have evolved over time.
For me it was a great stage, a bit dark, however, my art was very well received and continued to encourage me to continue growing as an artist.

Hoy quiero invitarlos a participar en un viaje en la línea temporal donde conocerán acerca de mi etapa artística influenciada por el arte y la cultura gótica.
Hace algunos años en mi ciudad se hacían convenciones Otaku y anime a los cuales me encantaba asistir. En ese momento yo era también ejecutante de Violoncello en la orquesta sinfónica juvenil de mi ciudad y escuchaba mucho Rock Gótico como Apocalyptica, Within Temptation y Lacuna Coil.
Inspiración Gótica
Para ese tiempo un grupo de artistas góticos en la ciudad hacían su movida en la Expo Otakus y utilizaban las redes para dar a conocer más de su arte y de su vida. En ese colectivo de artistas se encontraba la genial Enys Guerrero, Zoimar Lezama, Paul Santana entre otros.
Yo veía fascinada como ellos hacían del arte su estilo de vida y una forma de generar ingresos, así que me decidí a ingresar en el mundo del arte de forma más profesional.
Empecé a practicar y practicar y muchas veces les pedía algún consejo a alguno de ellos. Me encantaban sus estilos y gracias a ellos fui descubriendo grandes artistas como Luis Royo y Victoria Francés que es una artista española famosa por su saga ilustrada de vampiros.
Luis Royo se destacaba por sus chicas post - apocalípticas de gran belleza con conotaciones eróticas. Por otro lado Víctoria Francés me hechizaba. Me enamoraba cada escena, los paisajes, la época victoriana que destacaba en sus creaciones y de ahí, fue surgiendo la inspiración para crear arte con matices góticos, con ropa de época o incluso vampiros.
La Chica de la Capa Roja (2015)
Quiero confesar que este tipo de arte fue muy cotizado, ya que cada pieza original que realicé en esta temática y que hoy expongo fue vendida a coleccionistas en otros países como Estados Unidos e Inglaterra.
Yo estaba encantada, mi primera pieza exhibida en un colectivo artístico que realizaba subastas mensuales fue todo un éxito y se vendió al poco tiempo de ser publicada. Eso para mí fue una buena señal de que continuara en el camino artístico en el que recién me embarcaba.
Vamp Girl (2014)
Aunque disfrutaba del color, en esta etapa mis dibujos no tenían tanta saturación y predominaba mucho colores como el negro, rojo y el azul, muchas veces con tintes melancólicos.
La Luna (2016)
Las técnicas empleadas eran las mismas que suelo usar ahora, lápices de colores, bolígrafo, acuarelas y óleo pastel, en fin toda una técnica mixta que he evolucionado con el paso del tiempo.
Para mí fue una gran etapa, un poco oscura, sin embargo, mi arte fue muy bien acogido y me continuó animando a seguir creciendo como artista.
