Hoy les traigo un poema basado en la frase propuesta por la iniciativa Las verdades del tiempo, respondiendo a la invitación de mi querida @ineyashami e invito a participar a @robotgirl2024. Antes de empezar, quiero agregar que para este poema me inspiré de ese amor que se siente por alguien y que no es correspondido, pero en su momento se sintió tan real. Acá les dejo lo que escribí.   Greetings amazing writers of the #SoloEscribe community. Today, I bring you a poem based on the phrase proposed by the initiative The truths of time, responding to the invitation of my dear @ineyashami, and I invite @robotgirl2024 to participate. Before I start, I want to add that for this poem, love inspired me to feel for someone, and that was not reciprocated, but at the time, it felt so real. Here is what I wrote. I hope you like it 🧡.

𝐄𝐥 𝐓𝐢𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨 𝐲 𝐒𝐮 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐝

El tiempo que pase contigo
Fue único y especial
Y aunque lo quiero negar
No te logro olvidar

Muchas veces suelo pensar
Si nuestros caminos
Alguna vez
Se volverán a cruzar

Siempre me pregunté
Qué te hacía diferente
Por qué te me hacías
Tan atrayente.

Más tarde y sin previo aviso
El tiempo me detuvo
Cuál luz cegadora
Para hablar de él
Sin demora

Y fue allí
con su matiz gris
Y un reloj de arena
En su mano,
Me susurra al oído
Todo lo que mi corazón
Una vez, ya me había dicho

Fue una dura realidad
Aquella verdad
Que él tiempo
No me supo ocultar

Conmigo sólo te divertías
Pero yo te creí
Todas tus mentiras

Sin medidas,
Para luego mendigar

Te di sin justificar

The time I spent with you
was unique and special
And although I want to deny it
I cannot forget you.

Later and without warning
Time stopped me
What a blinding light
To talk about him
Without delay

And it was there
with its gray hue
And an hourglass
In her hand,
She whispers in my ear
All that my heart

It was a hard reality
That truth
That time
