Hi bloggers and food lovers, how are you today? Today I made some garlic bread using some leftover white bread I had at home. Since I was getting a little tired of sweet toast, I turned it into some delicious, fragrant, and savory garlic bread. Actually, it’s better to use a baguette because it’ll be crunchier, but since I only had white bread, let’s just make do with what we have. Okay, let’s get right to it

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 7 cloves of garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • sliced cheese
  • cream cheese

Instructions:

  • Melt the margarine in a pan

  • Pour the melted margarine into a bowl or plate

  • Add the grated garlic

  • Add the parsley

  • Crack 1 egg and add it to the bowl

  • Whisk until well combined

  • Add the chili flakes

  • Stir again until well combined

  • Transfer to a wider plate

  • Set aside

  • Prepare the white bread

  • Spread cream cheese on top

  • Top with another slice of white bread

  • Cut the bread into 4 pieces, but don’t cut all the way through

  • Place a slice of cheese in the middle of the other two pieces of bread

  • Dip both sides of the bread into the garlic sauce

  • Bake in the oven at 200°C for 40 minutes

  • Remove from the oven and serve

  • Simple Korean Garlic Bread is ready to eat
