I just love freewriting. Or I used to anyway. Lately, I haven't been able to let the stories out without imposing myself on them. Writer's block I suppose.

So I decided to shake things up a bit, and to brave using the most dangerous writing app for a change. felt.buzz@felt.buzz writes the best stories using it, and I hoped having the threat of everything I had written being erased if I stopped typing would allow me, once again, to write unhindered by myself.

This is what came out. All errors have been corrected and abbreviations or mucked up words have been fleshed out, but very few of the words have been significantly changed. I could not remember the Dickens name I needed until after I stopped typing, but anyone who has read "Bleak House" will know what that last line refers to.

I've provided a screenshot of my typing result before any proofreading, in case y'all wanna corroborate that I really did use the app.

WHAT A RUSH! TRY IT SOMETIME!

She walked through the large double doors leading into the divorce court chambers. There were about 40 people, mostly in business suits and on their phones. Her husband, soon to be ex-husband, was seated in the very back, chewing his fingernails.

“Ugh” she thought, “this is why I am ditching the bum.” She walked to the seat nearest the door and farthest from the bum. She turned around to look for her lawyer, and found her in a back room, cordoned off from the rest of the room by glass. Her lawyer, too, was in a business suit and on her phone, smiling and even laughing gaily.

Penelope was pissed. Did the lawyer not know this was the day that would determine the rest of Penelope's life? Apparently not. It was just another day in the lawyer's life. Another day to gab on the phone and wait for a case number to come up.

Penelope checked the docket, and found her case up next! Yikes! No wonder the bum was chewing his fingernails! They looked at each other and all four of their eyes opened in terror and fright.

She wanted to hug him! What?!!!! What is this?

She muttered under her breath "I love you" to him! What?!!!

When is this five minutes ever going to be over?

So the nearly-exes became a solid couple again, never to part, just like the first time they said their vows, only this time, with the spector of litigation in front of them, they meant it.

No Jarndice and Jarndice for them, no siree!
