In the afternoon, as it was getting dark, I went to an area on the outskirts of the city where meetings, concerts, events and parties are held, the so-called fairgrounds of the city of Cáceres. Taking advantage of the entrance of the storm that entered from the south, from the Atlantic area of southern Europe and that loaded and threatened with a lot of water. The successive entry of several storm fronts at this time of year is a blessing for the great lack of water and the dry periods that we were going through and that become the manna that fills our supply of dammed water and the flow of our rivers. The afternoon was presented with some wind although the temperature was not very cold because it came from the south, Africa and the Atlantic.
The idea that I wanted to propose was how the predominant colors in many of our photographic shots have a lot to do with the aspects that they convey. Orange, red, yellow and brown colors produce a warm, high-temperature effect that can be captured more efficiently if we properly regulate the temperature at which we take the photographs. Likewise, cold colors, blue, purple, green, give that opposite touch to the warm ones, producing a cold effect and in this game of contrasts and colors is the key to what is intended to be transmitted. This series also has special editions, each of them looking different, even though the images were taken at the same time. The light and the position with which I captured them varied, producing different effects in the shots.
Once the images were selected and discarding many others, I proceeded to edit them in Photoshop CC. Something essential when taking images in low light is to set the camera with a relatively slow shutter and speed so that the sensor, as a pupil, can capture and collect a little more light than in a much faster shot since it is I would take right away. Many of the techniques and tricks are pure learning from experience and require taking different shots by changing some parameters to compare and see the results. Greetings friends.

En la tarde ya anocheciendo me dirigí a una zona a las afueras de la ciudad donde se celebran encuentros, conciertos, eventos y fiestas el llamado "recinto ferial" de la ciudad de Cáceres. Aprovechando la entrada de la tormenta que venia por el sur, desde la zona atlántica del sur de Europa y que cargaba y amenazaba con mucha agua. La entrada sucesiva de varios frentes de borrasca en esta época del año es una bendición para la gran falta de agua y los periodos secos que estábamos atravesando y que se convierten en el maná que llena nuestro suministro de agua embalsada y el correr de nuestros ríos. La tarde se presentaba con algo de viento aunque la temperatura no era muy fría debido a su procedencia, del sur como comentaba, de África y del Atlántico.
La idea que quería proponer era como los colores predominantes en muchas de nuestras tomas fotográficas tiene mucho que ver con los aspectos que estas trasmiten. Los colores anaranjados, rojos, amarillos y marrones producen un efecto de calor, de alta temperatura. Puede ser capturada de manera más eficiente si regulamos bien la temperatura con la que recogemos las fotografías. Así mismo los colores fríos, azules, morados, verdes dan ese toque contrario al de los cálidos produciendo un efecto de frio y en este juego de contrastes y colores está la clave de lo que se pretende trasmitir. Esta serie tiene además ediciones especiales cada una de ellas distinta buscando que, aunque las imágenes fueron tomadas en el mismo momento, la luz y la posición con las que las capture variaban produciendo diferentes efectos en los planos.
Una vez seleccionadas las imágenes y descartando muchas otras procedí a la edición en Photoshop CC. Algo esencial a la hora de recoger imágenes con poca luz es configurar la cámara con una obturación y velocidad relativamente lenta para que el sensor, a modo de pupila, pueda captar y recoger algo más de luz que en un disparo mucho más rápido ya que se tomaría enseguida. Muchas de las técnicas y trucos son un puro aprendizaje de experiencia y requiere proceder a tomar diferentes disparos cambiando algunos parámetros para cotejar y ver los resultados. Saludos amigos.
