Hi everyone, hope you had a splendid day? I'm glad to be posting in this wonderful community for the first time ☺️.
Today, I made a Nigerian dish called moi moi or bean pudding, this can be eaten as a main meal or side dish, it can be eaten with any kind of rice or spaghetti and for people like me that sips garri with it 😁. This is a detailed tutorial on how I made mine 🤗.
Beans
Pepper
Crayfish
Onion 🧅
Seasoning cubes
Salt
Vegetable oil (also known as groundnut oil)
Eggs (optional)
Meat and fish (optional)
First, Wash the beans with hands and running water till the skin peels off entirely.
Soak the beans in water for two hours or overnight, i soaked mine overnight but in case you need it the same day, soak for two hours.
After the two hours, drain the water, rinse the beans and put in a blender together with the pepper, crayfish and onion.
Blend till smooth
Steam the meat and fish to your satisfaction and boil the egg, dice the meat and fish and cut the eggs if you wish to.
Pour the blended beans in a bowl and add the seasoning cubes, salt and vegetable oil while stirring.
Put the mixture in plastic plates or nylons, add the eggs, meat and fish as you see fit.
Arrange foil or old news papers or any paper in a big pot, add water and put the plates inside. Cook till your satisfaction 😉 and voila, your meal is set and ready to go into your stomach 🤗.
Spot the papers?😁
All photos are mine 🤗
