Have you tried #sushi before? I tried it for the first time and I liked sushi. My colleague Buse said that we should go to sushi almost every day. Luckily we made plans last week. According to Buse, the best sushi is made in Kadıköy. There was also a nice place in Beşiktaş. Since Kadıköy is far from us, we preferred to go to Beşiktaş.

Daha önce #sushi denediniz mi? Ben ilk kez denedim ve sushi’yi beğendim. İş arkadaşım Buse neredeyse hergün sushi yemeğe gitmemiz gerektiğini söylüyordu. Neyse ki geçen hafta plan yaptık. Buse’nin dediğine göre en iyi sushi Kadıköy’de yapılıyormuş. Bir de Beşiktaş’ta güzel bir mekan varmış. Kadıköy bize uzak olduğu için Beşiktaş’a gitmeyi tercih ettik.
4 friends went to Beşiktaş on Tuesday last week. The name of the place is "Noodle House". It was a small two-story venue and was not overly crowded. We were all very hungry since we got off work. We wanted more sushi because we were hungry :) However, we also ordered noodles because we thought we could not get enough of sushi.
4 arkadaş geçen hafta salı günü Beşiktaş’a gittik. Mekanın adı “Noodle House”. İki katlı küçük bir mekandı ve fazla kalabalık değildi. İşten çıktığımız için hepimiz çok acıkmıştık. Acıktığımız için sushi’yi daha çok istedik:) Ancak sushi ile doyamayacağımızı düşündüğümüz için noodle da sipariş ettik.
This is the first time I've used chopsticks instead of forks here. I wanted chicken noodles, my friends wanted shrimp noodles. It was difficult to eat noodles with chopsticks at first, but after a few tries I learned. I finished the whole noodle without using a fork.
İlk kez burada çatal yerine çubuk kullandım. Ben tavuklu noodle istedim, arkadaşlarım da karidesli noodle istediler. İlk başta çubuklarla noodle yemek zordu ama birkaç denemeden sonra öğrendim. Tüm noodle’u hiç çatal kullanmadan bitirdim.
I had a hard time ordering sushi because I had no idea about the varieties. Buse chose for me. According to him, the sushi called "california" is very good. We asked for 4 types of sushi and the best was california. Bush was right about this. If I eat sushi again, California will be my first choice. But I'm not sure if it's called that way in other places as well.
Sushi sipariş verirken çok zorlandım çünkü çeşitler hakkında hiçbir fikrim yoktu. Buse benim yerime tercih yaptı. Onun dediğine göre “california” adlı sushi çok güzelmiş. 4 çeşit sushi istedik ve en güzeli california idi. Buse bu konuda haklı çıktı. Bir daha sushi yersem ilk tercihim california olacak. Ancak diğer mekanlarda da bu şekilde mi isimlendiriliyor emin değilim.
I also tasted the famous #vasabi sauce. I tasted a little with the tip of my tongue, but the result was terrible. It didn't taste bitter, it was like acid. I never liked wasabi sauce. Also, the soybean wasn't good at all, if I remember correctly.
Meşhur #vasabi sosunun da tadına baktım. Dilimin ucuyla azıcık tadına baktım ama sonuç çok kötüydü. Tadı acı gibi değildi asit gibiydi sanki. Vasabi sosunu hiç beğenmedim. Ayrıca adını yanlış hatırlamıyorsam soya fasulyesi de hiç güzel değildi.
I had an important meeting to attend that day. While I was eating, I tried to listen to the meeting via zoom.
Benim o gün katılmam gereken öneli bir toplantım vardı. Bir yandan yemek yerken diğer taraftan zoom aracığıyıla toplantıyı dinlemeye çalıştım.
Have you seen how I eat sushi with chopsticks? I can say that I was successful in this. I ate all of the sushi with chopsticks☺️

After eating, we went to another place for coffee. Here, after drinking tea and chatting, we returned to our homes by metrobus. We made new plans with these friends. Our first plan is to “make breakfast”. Of course, for that, I have to finish my thesis first.
Yemek yedikten sonra kahve için başka bir mekana gittik. Burada da çay içip sohbet ettikten sonra metrobüsle evlerimize geri döndük. Bu arkadaşlarla yeni planlar yaptık. İlk planımız “kahvaltı yapmak”. Tabi bunun için önce tezimi bitirmeliyim.
