What an unpleasant kind of rain, a light, fine drizzle accompanied by a cool breeze that made it feel even colder than it actually was at around 11 degrees. I’d misjudged the weather a bit and hadn’t brought my emergency rain jacket in its little bag, so I didn’t have much choice but to cut my morning walk short and head to the supermarket to get out of the rain and pick up a few treats for the weekend. By then the rain had stopped, but with my shopping bags, I didn’t feel like walking any further. I dug up a few interesting rooftops from a sunnier morning in my archives and brought them along, specifically, from a school, a research and training facility at TU Berlin, and a house where I still haven’t figured out what that big corrugated-metal shed is doing up on the roof.

Was für eine unangenehme Art des Regens, leichter feiner Sprühregen und dazu ein kühler Wind, der das Ganze noch kälter wirken ließ, als es bei rund 11 Grad eigentlich war. Ich hatte mich etwas verschätzt und daher nicht meine Notfallregenjacke in kleinem Päckchen dabei, also blieb mir nicht viel anderes übrig, als den Morningwalk abzukürzen und schneller zum Supermarkt ins Trockene zu kommen und ein paar Leckerlies fürs Wochenende einzukaufen. Danach war der Regen dann zwar vorbei, aber mit dem Einkauf hatte ich dann keine Lust mehr auf lange Wege. Ich hab euch ein paar interessante Hausdächer von einem sonnigeren Morgen aus dem Archiv bearbeitet und mitgebracht, und zwar von einer Schule, einer Forschungs- und Schulungseinrichtung der TU Berlin und einem Haus, von dem ich noch nicht herausbekommen habe, was das für eine große Wellblechhütte da auf dem Dach zu stehen hat.
