It was a pleasantly cool morning after a night that had been too warm. Today, I did half of my usual loop around Luise Island as interval walking and spent the rest of the time strolling leisurely through the palace gardens. I did some extensive breathing and meditation exercises on the island’s shore, and afterward I once again wished the beautifully decorated bust of Queen Luise a good morning before I spotted the new residents in the Hollow Tree and immediately started a photo shoot with them so I could introduce each and every one of them to you here. But they wouldn’t tell me their names, because they said they’d have to move on immediately if anyone said their names out loud. Hmm, well, goblins, after all—they’re a strange bunch.

Es war ein angenehm frischer Morgen nach einer zu warmen Nacht. Die übliche Luiseninselrunde bin ich heute zur Hälfte im Intervall-Walking gegangen und den Rest entspannt im Schlosspark geschlendert. Ausgiebige Atem- und Meditationsübungen am Ufer auf der Insel waren angesagt und danach wünschte ich der hübsch dekorierten Königin Luise Büste wiedermal einen schönen Guten Morgen, bevor ich die neu eingezogenen Bewohner im Hohlen Baum entdeckte und umgehend ein Shooting mit ihnen startete, um sie euch hier jeden einzelnen vorzustellen. Ihre Namen wollten sie mir aber nicht verraten, denn sie sagten, dass sie sofort weiterziehen müssten, wenn jemand ihre Namen laut ausspricht. Hmm, tja, Kobolde halt, komische Käuze.
