Truly the situation that I have had to live, is something, as we say in our land, unbearable. Medically fulfilling three treatments and again I have had to return to the clinic, to definitely examine me with a specialist, even knowing the expense incurred and that now a specialist generates higher costs, but everything is for my sake and to generate a diagnosis that leads to full recovery. I had already contacted the internist and she had sent me for some lab tests and a chest x-ray to check how my lungs were doing; well, apparently they were not very well.

The lab results showed a type of infection and the chest x-ray corroborated it, since the lungs were congested and swollen, they asked me if I was a smoker and I had never touched a cigarette in my life. All this was the result of previous episodes that were not cured correctly and now this negative factor was noticeable. Another thing that the doctor saw was that the ribs did not have the regulatory arch, but were very straight, also a product of all the previous infectious processes. According to the doctor, the ribs, as I have them, prevent the air from coming out correctly.

The truth is that this is the fourth treatment, which is long term; however, I was to be given a steroid injection immediately. After buying all the medicines, the injection was given to me in an outpatient clinic near home, while the remaining treatment of antibiotics, a combination of allergy medicine, cough syrup and nebulizations would be long term. Well, the antibiotic for 7 days and nebulizations for 15 days three daily. The antiallergics and immunizers if I have to take them for at least three months. Little by little we will make progress and I have faith that this treatment will put an end to this calamity.

De verdad que la situación que me ha tocado vivir, es algo, como decimos en nuestra tierra, inaguantable. Médicamente cumpliendo tres tratamientos y nuevamente he tenido que volver a la clínica, para de forma definitiva examinarme con un especialista, aún sabiendo el gasto realizado y que ahora un especialista genera costos mayores; pero todo sea por mi bien y por generar un diagnóstico que conlleve a la recuperación total. Ya había contactado a la internista y ella me había mandado a realizar unos exámenes de laboratorio y una placa de tórax para constatar como se encontraban los pulmones; bueno, al parecer no estaban muy bien.

Los resultados de laboratorio arrojaron un tipo de infección y la placa de tórax lo corroboró, ya que se notaban los pulmones congestionados e inflamados, me preguntaron si yo era fumador y en mi vida había tocado un cigarro. Todo esto producto de episodios anteriores que no fueron curados de forma correcta y ahora se notaba ese factor negativo. Otro cosa que vio la doctora, fue que las costillas no tenían el arco reglamentario, sino que estaban muy rectas, producto también de todos los procesos infecciosos anteriores. Según la doctora, las costillas así como las tengo, evita que el aire salga de forma correcta.

Lo cierto es que este es el cuarto tratamiento, el cual es a largo plazo; sin embargo debían colocarme una inyección de esteroides de forma inmediata. Luego de comprar todos los medicamentos, la inyección me fue suministrada en un ambulatorio cerca de casa, mientras que el tratamiento restante a base de antibióticos, una combinación de antialérgicos, jarabe para la tos y nebulizaciones, serían a largo plazo. Bueno, el antibiótico por 7 días y las nebulizaciones por 15 días tres diarias. Los antialérgicos e inmunizadores si debo tomarlos mínimo tres meses. Poco a poco iremos avanzando y tengo fé de que este tratamiento acabe con esta calamidad.
