It's great that now there are various exhibitions in large shopping centers. If I see something new, then of course, I will definitely go. Not far from home, I have one of such large centers in which something is constantly passing. But there is an exhibition of reptiles, which has been operating for about a year. Periodically they bring someone new there and just in case I look there) well, or just visit the old ones, as they say) I like different lizards very much, I like to watch their behavior) One of my darlings at the exhibition is Bearded Agama, it turns out not so long ago become a mom!
I know that not all these creatures cause a smile and affection) but I really like them! When you look at them, at least you have an idea about which animals lived thousands of years ago. Like little dragons. These spikes on the edges of the whole body personally make me so excited!)
Such an interesting name for the agama was due to the peculiar beard of the males. During the breeding season, it becomes a couple of tones darker and, with something rather distant, it really resembles a beard. In nature, bearded aga can be found only in Australia in one of its most arid areas in rocky terrain.
Females beautiful yellow (sand color). The lizards themselves are not large in size from 40 to 60 cm. The muscular body, which is covered with mini spikes, it seems to me they even give it a slightly intimidating look) but in fact, there are so many people who plant these beauties as pets and they say that they are pretty cute and even a novice terrarium player can easily cope with them)
