A lovely morning indeed. It is Holy Saturday, and most of the world is still in lockdown, so all our prayers are from home. The good part is that the church is ensuring mass is available online, which makes it easier to join. Yesterday being Good Friday, we were watching evening service and hence no exercise in the evening.
Well, coming back to this morning, it was an excellent experience. I tweaked a few of my exercise sets and the focus today was only the shoulders. So, I went after the shoulder with massive sets and reps. Although I believed that I had grown stronger over the last month, boy, was I in for a surprise!
Today was the highest number of reps and sets for shoulders which I thought I took quite well, until the winding down part. As a slowly cooling down exercise, I decided 30-seconds side planks. That's when I realized that I could hardly balance myself on my arms. My shoulders were shaking like crazy, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to complete. It was funny. The easiest of exercises put my shoulders to test.
That’s not so bad because now I know that I had really pushed my shoulders. And I know there is way more improvement that is still possible. Good realization.
So, that’s my saga for today. Shoulder-shivers notwithstanding, it was a deeply fulfilling day!
Good day to you all! 😊

Paddy Doyle holds the record for body-weight squats. Body-weight squat means that a person is doing squats with only his body weight and nothing else. The record stands at 4,708 in one hour.
Twenty years back, I could do 500 squats in twenty minutes, but 4,708 in one hour is out of the world.
Does anyone want to try? 😊
