OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 107th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

A Drawing gadget is necessary if you want to draw digital. And to be able to draw on your tablet or display, you need a pen. I've been using my Wacom Intuos Comic for over four years now and the experience was great! It had helped me start drawing digitally properly and actually have fun with it, since before getting myself a tablet, I only draw using my laptop's track pad and my forefinger.

Photography is a passion in my life, even though I am not a professional photographer, capturing those everyday moments that leave memories in the soul and documenting them in a photograph makes this activity a great hobby and art. Being an apprentice photographer, HIVE, has given me the opportunity to learn some photographic techniques, being a little orthodox and clumsy in my ability, I already know what is ISO sensitivity, shutter, focus, white balance, exposure compensation, among others.

One of those things that I have done more and to my liking are the masks, that accessory that has become so essential since we are in Pandemic, that many are annoyed but it is for our health, I have been in charge of making mine and those of my family: my mom and my brother.

I will start by telling you that when I sit in front of the computer to work I like to listen to music since I was very young I discovered that through the sounds I could achieve my point of concentration, today I can combine the above with the fact of watching (or listening to) a movie or series while working, the point is that sounds are always involved in my creative process, so I give much value to the quality of that sound.

Hello friends of Hive, today I want to share with you a very gratifying experience that I had in recent months. As I have mentioned, I like to learn new things and for that reason I accepted the responsibility of being a classroom teacher, even though I did not prepare myself academically in this field. Now with the arrival of COVID 19 and the implementation of the radical quarantine, a world of possibilities opened up to prepare yourself from home, that is my case since through a schoolmate who sent me the invitation to participate in a workshop called The Pleasure of Reading with Fundación Empresas Polar began my adventure of studying through a WhatsApp group.

Two weekends ago, I was guest at one of such wedding parties again. This time, a colleague at work was getting married. And I was invited specially. The lady in question has been very supportive and down to earth. She teaches English language at the college. During my wedding in 2014, she played a sisterly role with the decorations of the reception hall at no cost. The wonder is that she followed me from Lagos to Delta for the procession. So, it was a call that must be attended.

Hello everybody! It is the first time that I publish The Pollen Flow in this interesting community and I have brought something surprising that I observed two days ago within my internal garden, and it is THE FORMATION OF A HONEY BEE HIVE, specifically of the species Tetragonisca angustula Illiger, also known as aricas or angelitas. I have previously published about these beautiful native American bees, which are eusocial, very useful for ecosystems, produce a very high quality honey and also lack a stinger, so they are very tame. I took this photo of mine on my second visit to my Doctor in OB-GYNE. I have not mentioned in my previous post that my doctor is from my country and city too. It is easy to have a conversation with her using our own dialect which is "Bisaya". I was quite nervous at this time because this was the day that I am scheduled for a TVS(Transvaginal ultrasound). At that moment, I thought to myself that I don't care how much money I am going to spend on this journey. I just wanted to know about my condition and what are the possible treatments that I must undergo to fight PCOS. It was a difficult journey for me to conquer it alone. I decided to keep it from my family and friends that I visited the clinic because I was too scared of what will be the result. A week before this, my doctor prescribed me medicines in order for me to do cleansing since I got a yeast infection which is a normal case for women. That is why I decided to consult a doctor because it was 5 months since I haven't menstruated and I felt some pain in my lower left hip.

I wanted to make kurkuma tea as I remembered tasting it a year ago. I tried to make golden milk and I loved the taste. It was a novelty for me to mix milk with tea and I am glad that I tried something new.
