If you will notice later there is this wooden board with holes-which is really used if one wanted to make a sculpture-standing one.

I started by making the base with toothpick.I usually use toothpick because its readily available and cheap!Wires are a welcome tool too but I do not want to worry so much about tarnishing or rust.

I let it dry and started on the base.Just a bit of green clay and I used a tiny scissors to create the grass effect.

Set aside. The other significant element I made is the umbrella.I started with this.

I used my silver marker to draw the flower design on the umbrella.

Now to the cat:

I assembled it and let it to dry a bit.

Making the cat markings are a bit tricky but I did it in stages.I would have wanted for my cat to raise the umbrella higher but,It lacked reinforcement and I do not want to start over again.I assembled the rest of the stuff and used some green clay to attach the cat to the base.

Because I am going to the storyline that its a windy day, I intentionally made the grass look like it is being blown in disarray and the cat is barely keeping his balance.

I used an ordinary pen to create the liner effect on the cat and,I have something that looks like this.
