I had been very disappointed these past few days. I was making some resin craft using the traditional acrylic resin but things are not turning out the way I wanted them to be.

Its winter in Australia. Its taking me 3 weeks to cure my calendar craft. In order for my blog not to remain stagnant, I decided to just go back and do some clay crafts until I sorted that part of my life.

So here is my donut charm. I did not want to put an eye pin on this because its going in my private sweet collection.

Moving on, I started by forming the donut.

Then I got another pink clay and made it as my icing. I do wanted to use my puffed up paint but, that's gonna be another story.

I made the character.

Then I made a flower to "balance" the look.

So this is the story of the cat. My first attempt on the donut charm. Unfortunately, I made a lot of mistakes doing this. One of them is that, I used a paint to make the icing effect. Then, I used my white marker to compliment the eyes and I have something that looks like this.

I am not very happy with the way this turned up but, I am embracing this as a process of me creating this.

I do not have any plans of throwing this away. I will keep this as a reminder of what my clay journey.
