I have quite a few posts scheduled in the past few days. Unfortunately, I want to follow the " traditional" way and well, make easter related posts.
So here it is.
I went to officeworks today to buy a fine marker to finish the eye details of my polymer clay figurines. I ended up buying these air dry clay. Yeah, I am so gullible but, I am curious to know what can I create from these.
Here is a picture of the label folks- who are from Australia.
I started by making these.
And I just placed a round ball of clay, then used my tool to make eye sockets.
I ended up with something that looks like this.
I waited for it to dry up before I did any eye detail. Meanwhile I made this rabbit.
I am not going to show you guys how I made these rabbit. I also don't know why I made the hands look like its gripping the egg shell but, I love the effect- it seems to be so concerned that its gonna slip away.
Here is a close look to my creations.
The details on the egg shell were created from a marker- yes, the common marker that you use to write on packages bought in the grocery, stationary shop or wherever they sell them. I waited for the clay to be dried up- for the air dry clay that I used, its like 5 minutes. Then I started making the details.
