I explored a moonlit desert hill named Desheret Dewu, discovering an abandoned camp overrun by dead bodies and high-level vultures. After luring the vultures away, I looted a hidden treasure chest for 500 XP and finished the exploration with a dramatic Leap of Faith against the backdrop of the full moon.
Riding through the desert under a clear night sky, the landscape looked stunning framed by a bright full moon. I decided to pause my travel and send Senu up into the air to scout the surrounding dunes.
Sweeping the area from high above, Senu spotted a unknown location marker resting directly atop a nearby hill, prompting me to head up and investigate.
Reaching the site, named Desheret Dewu, I found a pile of dead bodies scattered across the rocks along with a treasure chest hidden in the middle of the camp.
A flock of massive vultures was actively feasting on the corpses. I swung my weapon to clear the birds, but quickly realized these were high-level creatures capable of taking me down in just a few hits.
Recognizing the danger, I turned and sprinted down the slope to put some distance between us.
Once the vultures lost interest and flew off into the night sky, I carefully made my way back up to the clearing.
Examining the campsite, it looked as though a group of travelers had set up camp for the night before getting ambushed and wiped out by bandits, or perhaps picked off by the aggressive wildlife.
Leaving the bodies undisturbed, I opened the chest, completed the location objective and secured 500 experience points along with a weapon from the chest.
With the area cleared and no sign of the vultures returning, I noticed a dead tree branch extending out over the cliffside, serving as a vantage point. Climbing up onto the perch, I lined up the camera to frame the glowing full moon directly behind Bayek.
I triggered the Photo Mode to capture a few shots of the view before launching into a flawless Leap of Faith down into the sand below.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.
