I haven't been going out much lately but yesterday I decided to take a little trip into town because I wanted to see the Christmas decorations. I really like the pre-Christmas period but I know that for many it is also a source of stress unfortunately, however every year in the city there are different decorations, this year in my opinion they have outdone themselves! However, let's start from the first place we visited, Piazza del Ceppo , one of the main and oldest squares in the city, this square is famous for its rust monument entitled the moon in the well, there are those who find it beautiful and those who don't and for being the seat of the old hospital of the strain and of a museum dedicated to the ancient hospital which I have visited several times for free, here we have a nice initiative, one Sunday a month the municipal museums are free.
The square is also home to the Palazzo del Ceppo with a beautiful and important bas-relief by della Robbia, a sculpture famous for its particular style. This year the decorations in the square were simple but still very beautiful, the palace was decorated with cascades of lights that enhance its beauty and in the middle of the square there is an immense bright star to illuminate it, beautiful but perhaps a little tacky .
Buenos días Hivers ¿cómo estás? Hace bastante frío aquí hoy, ¡el invierno realmente se acerca! Últimamente no he salido mucho pero ayer decidí hacer un pequeño viaje a la ciudad porque quería ver las decoraciones navideñas. Me gusta mucho el período prenavideño pero sé que para muchos también es una fuente de estrés lamentablemente, sin embargo cada año en la ciudad hay decoraciones diferentes, ¡este año en mi opinión se han superado! Sin embargo, comencemos por el primer lugar que visitamos, Piazza del Ceno, una de las plazas principales y más antiguas de la ciudad, esta plaza es famosa por su monumento oxidado titulado la luna en el pozo, hay quienes la encuentran hermosa y quienes quienes no y por ser sede del antiguo hospital de la cepa y de un museo dedicado al antiguo hospital que he visitado varias veces gratis, aquí tenemos una bonita iniciativa, un domingo al mes los museos municipales son gratuitos.
La plaza también alberga el Palazzo del Ceppo con un hermoso e importante bajorrelieve de della Robbia, una escultura famosa por su particular estilo. Este año las decoraciones en la plaza fueron sencillas pero aún así muy hermosas, el palacio fue decorado con cascadas de luces que realzan su belleza y en medio de la plaza hay una inmensa estrella brillante para iluminarla, hermosa pero quizás un poco hortera.
Since it was quite cold yesterday too, my friends and I with whom I found myself in this square also decided to have a coffee in a very suggestive new place, located in an ancient residence and with not only coffee and sweets but also an exhibition of objects , a very particular and naive place, a sort of den for artists, a delightful place. The only negative point is the really high prices, usually a coffee costs 1.20 euros, here 1.60 if there is table service even 50 cents more, the place is beautiful and particular but it's not worth the price, I won't tell you how much did the drinks cost, a salary! However, it was a pleasant walk, I will also talk to you about the decorations found in the city center and in the main square of the town.
Como ayer también hacía bastante frío, mis amigos y yo con los que me encontré en esta plaza también decidimos tomar un café en un local nuevo muy sugerente, ubicado en una antigua residencia y con no sólo café y dulces sino también una exposición de objetos, un lugar muy particular e ingenuo, una especie de guarida de artistas, un lugar encantador. El único punto negativo son los precios realmente altos, normalmente un café cuesta 1,20 euros, aquí 1,60 si hay servicio de mesa incluso 50 céntimos más, el lugar es bonito y particular pero no vale la pena el precio, no te diré cuánto. ¿Las bebidas costaron un salario? Sin embargo fue un paseo agradable, también te hablaré de las decoraciones que se encuentran en el centro de la ciudad y en la plaza principal del pueblo.
