First of all, I got up and made myself look nice, even though it's a bit of a challenge these days because, unfortunately, depression and severe anxiety are back. But dressing well and putting on a little makeup makes me feel a little better, and fortunately, in the summer, I have lots of cute dresses to wear, and it's a shame to leave them in the closet. Of course, I immediately took some selfies. Anyway, today my husband and I went out for some important errands. Since we now live in the city, my husband has decided it's time to change cars and that his Discovery mountain bike is no longer suitable, especially because the incredible increases in diesel prices are weighing heavily on our monthly budget. He spends almost three hundred euros a month on diesel just to go to work鈥攊t's definitely too much, and the government isn't helping even though they promised to lower and eliminate excise taxes. Anyway, we can't afford a new car, but we went to a dealership that also deals with used cars.

Primero que nada, me levant茅 y me arregl茅, aunque es un poco dif铆cil estos d铆as porque, desafortunadamente, la depresi贸n y la ansiedad severa han regresado. Pero vestirme bien y ponerme un poco de maquillaje me hace sentir un poco mejor, y afortunadamente, en verano, tengo muchos vestidos lindos para usar, y es una pena dejarlos en el armario. Por supuesto, inmediatamente me tom茅 algunas selfies. En fin, hoy mi esposo y yo salimos a hacer algunos recados importantes. Como ahora vivimos en la ciudad, mi esposo ha decidido que es hora de cambiar de coche y que su bicicleta de monta帽a Discovery ya no es adecuada, especialmente porque las incre铆bles subidas en los precios del di茅sel est谩n afectando mucho nuestro presupuesto mensual. The clerk was very kind while we waited. We toured the dealership. There were many new cars, especially Renaults, which were very nice but out of our budget. However, in the used car section, after trying out a few, we found two that suited us: an old Fiat Punto or a Lancia Ypsilon. My husband has yet to decide, but he seems to be leaning toward the latter. We'll be back tomorrow to decide. Then, since we were already out exploring the city, we took a walk, and I took the opportunity to see an art exhibition at the library. The exhibition wasn't quite ready, but I still got to admire the paintings of this very modern artist from Pistoia. The exhibition is called Oltre la forma (Beyond Form), and many of the paintings are abstract, while others feature faces and floral portraits. El dependiente fue muy amable mientras esper谩bamos. Recorrimos el concesionario. Hab铆a muchos coches nuevos, sobre todo Renault, que eran muy bonitos pero se sal铆an de nuestro presupuesto. Sin embargo, en la secci贸n de coches de segunda mano, despu茅s de probar algunos, encontramos dos que nos gustaban: un Fiat Punto antiguo o un Lancia Ypsilon. Mi marido a煤n no se ha decidido, pero parece inclinarse por el segundo. Volveremos ma帽ana para decidir. Despu茅s, como ya est谩bamos explorando la ciudad, dimos un paseo y aprovech茅 para ver una exposici贸n de arte en la biblioteca. La exposici贸n no estaba del todo lista, pero aun as铆 pude admirar las pinturas de este artista tan moderno de Pistoia. La exposici贸n se llama Oltre la forma (M谩s all谩 de la forma) y muchas de las pinturas son abstractas, mientras que otras presentan rostros y retratos florales. Fue un d铆a precioso y, de camino a casa, 隆nos encontramos con un cielo tan bonito que ten铆a que fotografiarlo s铆 o s铆! 隆Hasta pronto, amigos del blog!
