This experience led me to stroll through the old streets of Pistoia and see some very beautiful old apartments. First, I passed Piazza delle Sala, one of the oldest squares in Pistoia, where the vegetable market is held on Wednesdays. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and couldn't stop to shop for vegetables as I would have liked. Instead, I first walked along the alleys adjacent to the square, charming old alleys, small, full of bars that open in the evening. They are beautiful and characteristic at night, illuminated by the lights of the bars, but they are also beautiful during the day. Then I arrived in Via degli Orafi, which is also one of the oldest streets in the city of Pistoia. It was named this way because in ancient times it was dedicated to goldsmiths, with many goldsmiths' shops. Today it is an elegant street with very beautiful old buildings to see.
