Actually, on this day pancakes are baked. They eat pancakes. But March 8 is coming up, and on this day my husband is baking a Napoleon cake for me.
So there was a Napoleon cake
The cake turned out like this!
And now I will show you the baking process.
Recipe!
Flour 400 gr
Butter 250 gr.
Eggs 1 egg
Sour cream 200 gr
Baking soda 0.3 teaspoon
Vinegar 1 teaspoon
We grate the frozen butter, mix it with the flour into the crumbs, add the egg and baking soda, gassed with vinegar. Quickly knead the dough and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. My husband immediately divides the dough into 16 pieces.
We take it out of the fridge, roll it out thinly, and pierce it with a fork to make sure there are no bubbles. And we bake.
It makes perfect thin crusts.
Next we make the cream.
My husband makes a simple cream - he whips condensed milk and butter in a mixer. 250 grams of butter and 380 grams of condensed milk.
But there are many variations of cream for Napoleon cake, they are on the Internet.
Spread the cream on each cake. Do not spare the cream.
Our cake is assembled!
A little compression is needed. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Leave in a warm place for a few hours to allow the cake to soak. And then taste)
Store in the refrigerator.
Enjoy your appetite!
