Tarta personalizada | Pistacho Bakery 📍 ZGZ [Esp][Eng]

Al fin llegó la hora de compartirles este regalo tan especial que quise conseguir para alguien muy pequeñín en casa. Hace poco, celebramos unos 4 añitos de vida y, diferencia de los previos cumpleaños, esta persona ya tiene bastante claro qué es una celebración y la temática que ansiaba tener en su día especial.

Hace unas semanas, porque estábamos intentando preparar todo con antelación, relaté en uno de mis paseos de #actifit que había dado con el lugar correcto para encargar lo más representativo de ese día, la torta de cumpleaños. (Puedes curiosear ese paseo previo, pinchando sobre la foto de la entrada de la tienda).

La temática en cuestión seria de Súper Mario Bros, pero no queríamos una tarta de Fondant, esa pasta de azúcar que es más decorativa que comestible. En realidad a nosotros nos importa mas que la torta adentro esté bueno, no prescindir de esto por invertir más en una decoración extravagante. Así que recordamos que la tarta de pistacho de este lugar, tiene una decoración verde claro con flores, que podría parecer el césped de los videojuegos.

Esta tarta tiene un delicioso sabor, pero para los pequeños queríamos incluir algo con chocolate, bueno no solo para los pequeños jajaja por lo que la idea era tener una tarta de dos plantas con distintos sabores. Cuando le planteé la idea a la pastelera de la tienda, me dijo que sería un reto porque no habían hecho una tarta así antes, pero que conseguirían para mí un soporte adecuado para que las pesadas tartas se sostuvieran sin problemas.

It's finally time to share with you this very special gift I wanted to get for someone very little at home. We recently celebrated about 4 little years of life and, unlike previous birthdays, this little person is already pretty clear on what a celebration is and the theme that was longing to have on a special day.

A few weeks ago, as we were trying to prepare everything in advance, I reported in one of my #actifit walks that I had stumbled upon the right place to order the most representative of that day, the birthday cake.

The theme in question was to be Super Mario Bros, but we didn't want a cake made of Fondant, the sugar paste that is more decorative than edible. Actually, we care more about the cake being good inside, not to forego this by investing more in an extravagant decoration. So we remember that the pistachio cake of this place, has a light green decoration with flowers, which could look like the lawn of the video games.

This cake has a delicious flavor, but for the little ones we wanted to include something with chocolate, well not just for the little ones hahaha so the idea was to have a two tier cake with different flavors. When I put the idea to the pastry chef at the store, she told me that it would be a challenge because they hadn't made a cake like this before, but that they would get a suitable support for me so that the heavy cakes would stand up perfectly.

En Pistacho Bakery fueron muy comprensivas todas las chicas encargadas, me pidieron detalles de lo que queríamos y me prometieron que nuestras expectativas quedarían totalmente satisfechas.

Me pidieron que acordáramos una hora exacta para recogerla, así ellas montarían la tarta justo en el momento adecuado para que estuviese lo más fresca posible al llevarla a casa, ese detalle me pareció genial. Además me advirtieron que sería una tarta considerablemente pesada, así que mejor ir a recogerla en coche porque de otra manera, sería muy complicado garantizar que llegara entera a casa.

El día de ir a recogerla no sé quiénes estaban más emocionados, si nosotros por lo preciosa que había quedado o ellas, las chicas de la pastelería, por el orgullo de haber cumplido tan al pie de la letra nuestro encargo. Todos estábamos contentos.

Salí con mucho cuidado e ilesa, notando el peso de la tarta, a pesar de que ese día la tienda ya estaba llenándose con muchas personas para el brunch. Tenían mucha razón con respecto a transportarla, quizá no fuese excesivamente gran, podía llevarla en las piernas sentada, pero era muy pesada y además quedaba bien ajustada en la caja, por lo que cualquier movimiento brusco en trasporte publico la habría arruinado.

Debido a su inusual tamaño con relación a las tartas regulares que ella suelen preparar en la tienda, esta se salía de la caja, así que las chicas idearon un delicado envoltorio que no la deformaba y, además, la dejaba ser observada fácilmente por todos los curiosos con los que me topé en el breve recorrido de la tienda al coche. Fue muy divertido, era imposible pasarla por alto.

At Pistacho Bakery all the girls in charge were very understanding, they asked me for details of what we wanted and promised me that our expectations would be totally satisfied.

They asked me to arrange an exact time to pick it up, so they would assemble the cake just at the right time for it to be as fresh as possible to take it home, I thought that it was really cool. They also warned me that it would be a very heavy cake, so it would be better to pick it up by car because otherwise, it could be very difficult to guarantee that it arrived home in one piece.

The day we went to pick it up, I don't know who was more excited, whether it was us for how beautiful the cake had turned out or them, the girls at the bakery, for the pride of having fulfilled our order to the letter. We were all happy.

I walked out very carefully and unharmed, feeling the weight of the cake, even though that day the store was already filling up with many people for brunch. They were quite right about transporting it, maybe it wasn't excessively large, I could carry it on my lap sitting down, but it was very heavy and it also fit tightly in the box, so any sudden movement in public transport would have ruined it.

Because of its unusual size in relation to the regular cakes they usually prepare in the store, this one would pop out of the box, so the girls devised a delicate wrapping that didn't deform it and, moreover, let it be easily observed by all the curious people I came across on the short walk from the store to the car. It was so much fun, there was no way to miss it.

Luego de llegar a casa, teníamos que ponernos manos a la obra para organizar todo el montaje de la decoración de la fiesta, en donde la hermosa tarta tendría que experimentar algunos cambios también.

En el enlace al que se accede desde la imagen de la imagen del Toat, narraba la odisea buscando a todos los amigos del peluche de Mario que ya tenía, que queríamos darle de regalos en su cumpleaños. Esto es muy importante porque, junto a todos los muñecos que ha recibido a lo largo del año con esta temática, montamos la decoración en la mesa de la torta.

Luego utilizamos unas velas que compartieran colores y formas parecidas al videojuego, porque las de Super Mario que vimos era un poco feos. Finalmente, incluimos unas figuritas de cartón alrededor de la tarta, esto no la deformaría y, al contrarío, la haría más vistosa para los pequeñines, porque era la base de juego de los personajes del videojuego.

Luego vino la parte mas difícil, hinchar globos a todo pulmón jajaja mal plan para estas fechas en las que todos estamos constipados y cuesta soplar, siempre que nos toca decimos que tenemos que comprar una pequeña bomba de aire, pero nunca lo hacemos. Terminamos cansados, pero creo que valió la pena porque todo quedó super llamativo, demasiado para un adulto pero, sin duda, mágico para un niño.

After arriving home, we had to get down to work to organize the whole party decoration set-up, where the beautiful cake would have to undergo some changes as well.

In the link accessed from the Toat image, I narrated the odyssey looking for all the friends of Mario's plush toy that we already had, that we wanted to give as gifts for the birthday. This is very important because, along with all the toys received throughout the year with this theme, we set up the decoration on the cake table.

Then we used some candles that shared colors and shapes similar to the video game because the Super Mario candles we saw were a bit ugly. Finally, we included some cardboard figures around the cake, this would not deform the cake and, on the contrary, would make it more attractive for the little ones, because it was the playing base of the video game characters.

Then came the hardest part, blowing up balloons at the top of our lungs hahaha bad plan for these dates when we are all constipated and it's hard to blow, every time we say we have to buy a small air pump, but we never do it. We ended up tired, but I think it was worth it because everything was super flashy, too much for an adult but certainly magical for a child.

Dejemos de hablar tanto de decoraciones y vayamos a lo importante ¿Qué tan buena estaba esta mega tarta?

Let's stop talking about the decorations and get down to the nitty-gritty. How good was this super cake?

¡Buenísima! como lo son todas las tartas de Pistacho Bakery, la verdad es que desde que descubrí este lugar siempre ha sido un acierto total. Aún tengo pendiente elaborar una reseña mas detallada, pero creo que es fácil percibir que estas elaboraciones han sido preparadas bastante bien.

La tarta estaba compuesta por dos pasteles de rellenos y tamaños diferentes. El decorado era uniforme para ambos, con una ligera crema de mantequilla verde con sabor a pistacho y flores rosas decorando. Al principio me costó creer que fuese crema de mantequilla, porque no se siente para nada grasosa, tengo pendiente preguntarles con cuál proporción la preparan, porque les queda deliciosa.

Al comenzar a picar la tarta, nos dimos cuenta que lo más inteligente sería desmontarla, porque la verdad es que todos queríamos probar ambos sabores. Tuvimos cuidado de desmontar la base de plástico que sostenía la tarta superior sin hacer un desastre. En lo que no fuimos tan diestros fue en cortarla tan impecablemente. xD

El pastel superior, era sabor a trufa, lo que significa es que sabía mucho a chocolate, fue la recomendación que me dieron en la pastelería cuando les pregunté por la opción con más chocolates que preparaban. El bizcocho es de cacao, y realmente sabe bastante a chocolate, nada de tintes con sabor a azúcar, esto estaba espectacular si eres fan del chocolate. Además, tenía de relleno una crema también con sabor a chocolate más ligero, que hacía que el conjunto no se sintiera pesado o empalagoso. Y por ultimo, entre las capas había cobertura de chocolate con leche, sin cremas ni mezclas, chocolate nada más: ¡Genial!

En cuanto a la parte inferior, es un sabor que ya conocíamos bastante bien, porque lo hemos probado varias veces y siempre quedamos con ganas de repetir de lo buena que está. Lo genial de esta pastelería, es que utilizan pistacho de verdad en todas sus elaboraciones, no cremas saborizadas ni cremas que solo saben a azúcar y tienen color verde. Aquí se siente el sabor de este producto de forma natural, tanto en la crema que decora y rellana alguna de las capas internas, como también en el relleno mas oscuro que es una especie de jale a con praliné de pistacho, ya me anoto preguntar exactamente el nombre cuando vuelva a la pastelería jajaja.

Excellent! as are all the cakes from Pistachio Bakery, the truth is that since I discovered this place it has always been a total success. I have yet to write a more detailed review, but I think it is easy to see that these elaborations have been prepared quite well.

The cake was composed of two separate cakes with different fillings and sizes. The decorations were uniform for both, with light green pistachio-flavored buttercream and pink flower decorations. At first, I found it hard to believe it was buttercream because it doesn't feel greasy at all, I had to ask them what proportion they prepared it with because it is delicious.

When we started to cut the cake, we realized that the smartest thing to do would be to disassemble it, because the truth is that we all wanted to try both flavors. We were careful to disassemble the plastic base that held the top cake without making a mess. What we were not so skilled at was cutting it so flawlessly. xD

The top cake, was truffle flavor, which means it tasted a lot like chocolate, it was the recommendation they gave me at the pastry shop when I asked them for the option with more chocolates they prepared. The sponge cake is made of cocoa, and it really tastes quite chocolatey, no sugar flavored dyes, this was spectacular if you are a chocolate fan. In addition, it had a cream filling also with a lighter chocolate flavor, which made the whole thing not feel heavy or cloying. And finally, between the layers, there was milk chocolate coating, no creams or mixtures, just chocolate: Great!

As for the bottom part, it is a flavor that we already knew quite well, because we have tried it several times and we always want to repeat it because of how good it is. The great thing about this bakery is that they use real pistachio in all their elaborations, not flavored creams or creams that only taste like sugar and have a green color. Here you can feel the flavor of this product in a natural way, both in the cream that decorates and fills some of the inner layers, as well as in the darker filling that is a kind of jelly with pistachio praline, I will ask exactly the name when I return to the shop hahaha.

¡Ah! como era una fiesta temática, los adultos también nos metimos dentro de los personajes y a mí me tocó representar a Luigui jajaja así que aquí está una foto probándolo, sin que sea tan vergonzoso. Conseguimos unos suéteres muy cool que no están nada mal, pero ya hablaré de ello en otro momento. Solo quería dejar evidencia del nivel de inmersión que quisimos lograr xD.

La celebración fue todo un éxito, la tarta estaba deliciosa y no sufrió mayor daño al ser desmontada ni al quitarle los adornos de cartón con los dibujos de Super Mario Bros, la crema se adaptaba muy bien y resultó fácil transformarla casi en el Palacio de la princesa Peah.

Eso sí, tuvimos mas de una semana comiendo tarta, porque no es solo que fuesen dos, las tartas de esta pastelería son altas y tienen bastante relleno, un trozo pequeño te puede dejar tranquilamente satisfecho, esto es algo que me gusta mucho, aunque he aprendido que para la próxima vez tengo que ser más comedida con el tamaño de los encargos jajaja.

Tenía muchísimas ganas de preparar una sorpresa con una torta de dos pisos y lo logramos con mucho éxito. Ya para la próxima no habrá que ser tan exagerados jajaja paro hay que esperar a ver qué cosas estarán dentro de los favoritos el próximo año, hasta entonces ¡Buen provecho!

Ah, since it was a themed party, we adults also got to get inside the characters and I got to play Luigui hahaha so here's a picture trying it on, not so embarrassing. We got some really cool sweaters that aren't bad at all, but I'll get to that another time. I just wanted to show some evidence of the immersion level we wanted to achieve xD.

The celebration was a success, the cake was delicious and didn't suffer major damage when it was disassembled or when the cardboard decorations with the Super Mario Bros drawings were removed, the cream adapted very well and it was easy to transform it almost into Princess Peah's palace.

Of course, we had more than a week eating cake, because it is not only that there were two, the cakes from this bakery are tall and have plenty of filling, a small piece can easily satisfied you, this is something I really like, although I have learned that for next time I have to be more restrained with the size of the orders hahaha.

I really wanted to prepare a surprise with a two tier cake and we succeeded very well. Next time we won't have to be so exaggerated hahaha but let's wait to see what things will be among the favorites next year, until then Bon appetit!
