Yesterday was Sunday in my family that means family fun day. Upon my husband's request I made lasagna, garlic bread, and salad. Here I will share my recipe for exactly What I made.
For the lasagna I had one side with meat and mushrooms and one side plain. Step one was to cook the meat which was ground chicken and mushrooms. All I did was oil a frypan put in the ground meat let it brown, and then spice it up. The spices are used for this meat were salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and a little bit of paprika. Once I mix the spices and I sliced my mushrooms and threw them in with some chopped onions. I also added half a tablespoon of freshly minced garlic this is optional to your taste.
Once the meet was done I started layering my lasagna. As you can see in the photos. I used lasagna sheets that I pre-boiled. I buttered my pan and then put a little bit of tomato sauce at the bottom. Then came three sheets of lasagna, mozzarella, tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, and meat on one side. Then you just continue this as you go along. Reserve some mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese for the top layer. This will make a nice crust on top of the lasagna. I want to create your oven at 350 and leave your lasagna in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes only because everything was pre-cooked. Once you take it out let it set for 20 to 30 minutes and enjoy!
The garlic bread is very simple and it took 10 minutes to make. You buy two Italian loaves and slice them to your liking. Then generously butter each slice put some garlic powder or fresh grated garlic which was what are used, and sprinkle some Parmesan cheese and basil on top. When your lasagna has about 10 minutes left on it pop in your tray of garlic bread. It takes only 10 minutes for your bread too brown up !
I hope you enjoyed and if you did or have any questions leave a comment.
