Hello everyone.

It's a holiday today, and we're not sure what to eat. The kids aren't really keen on eating mom's cooking on holidays, haha. Actually, they probably just want to go out and see something new. That's all. Today, I'm craving dry noodles again. It's one of my favorites. I don't know what the vendors put in it, but it always makes me think of it on holidays. The dry noodles at the shrine are my go-to place; it's my number one favorite. If I want really good food, I usually have to go a little further, but if I want delicious food that's also close by, it's this dry noodle shop. Today, all four of us ordered the same thing: dry noodles. It was quite busy today, with some people having to stand and wait for a seat. Luckily, we arrived a little early, just as one customer was leaving, so we had comfortable seats and didn't have to wait long. We sat down, and soon after, a staff member came to take our order: four bowls of dry noodles, one can of Coke, one hot milk tea, and one plate of toast. My youngest daughter brought her own water because she can't eat cold things right now; she needs to wait until she's healthier. So, she occasionally drinks soda with me.

This seemingly ordinary dry noodle dish appears easy to prepare, featuring freshly made noodles, small crispy fried dried fish, lightly seasoned minced pork meatballs, fish balls, and blanched vegetables. A separate broth is provided. The highlight is their unique and delicious chili paste, unlike any other shop's, which attracts customers who enjoy spicy noodles. Eating the spicy, hot dish with a cold Coke makes it even more delicious and satisfying... but regarding health, it's not ideal. Eating spicy food and drinking Coke at the same time can be detrimental to your health and gut. However, occasional consumption is probably okay (I'm justifying this to myself because I want to drink it even though I know it's not good for my health, haha).

Soon, the dry noodles were served, but before the noodles arrived, toast was served first, along with drinks. We chatted and ate leisurely. Finally, after finishing our meal, it was time to find our next destination for relaxation during this holiday. And that was the first meal of the day, a delicious meal for all of us. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to read my article today. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for your continued support and see you again in the next article. Bye-bye!
