Today was a family day as we had plans to head downtown to visit a collectible card show. Decades ago, a weekend a month I would go with my dad to collect baseball cards. I recently started to clean out my closet and saw many of these and saw that a card show was coming to town. It was this weekend and my family joined me for some nostalgia. I actually took some cards to grade to see if they can be some good surprises.
I could not believe how many people were walking around with luggage’s of cards for trading. It was pretty exciting and I have to admit that I bought my first box of Pokemon cards to get home and open some packs with the family. It has led me down a rabbit hole which is a concern as I need to focus on my projects. I got plenty of activity walking around the show and going for food and drinks in between. I also did a PT session before the day was over but ultimately took the day for some recovery.
