The FIRST PROJECT WAS SUCCESSFUL [ NEO - CARE]

"Some" of the orphanage children with me

It all started in the neoxiancity discord server where we chat and share ideas every day. So one of these days @sayee came up with this initiative of an act of charity, supporting the needy; the hungry, the vulnerable children, the homeless, etc. It was a welcomed idea that birthed this hive account @neo-care, thanks to Mr. Ray, the bro founder who created this account and first supported this project. We also reached out to other hivers through our blogs and so far we have received awesome donations both from neoxiancity people and from other hivers who came across the post.

So for our first project, it took place in Nigeria, Lagos state to be precise and I @nkemakonam89 happen to be one that took charge of the NEO-CARE charity work in Nigeria. This post is a FEEDBACK POST-, a report on the items I bought and my visit to the orphanage home yesterday.

SUMMARY OF MY VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE HOME

The center I visited is government-approved. There were children of different age brackets, however, the little kids among them were sleeping at the moment I arrived, and thus their absence in the shots I captured. The children and their guidances were so happy to receive me. I had a great time with them chit-chatting while trying to understand their well-being so far. I made them understand whom I represent (Neo-care) and not only did they extend their warm greetings to all the sponsors of this program but they prayed very well for everyone that donated and it's my wish that the blessings locate each and everyone one of us.

The total amount received in naira is #67,700. Amount spent on these items is #60,950. Balance is #6,750
