Dear Minnow,
People that work the hardest in this world earn the least. Checkout all these guys engaging in manual labour. They sweat all day under the sun; labouring with all their power and might. But after all these labours, their income can't feed an ant. Some of you call that injustice. I call it fairness.
That's the way the world really is. Those who are intune with the Laws Of Success know that they cannot excel by doing manual labour directly. Unless you are the employer of all the manual labourers in the area.
Why do CEOs, CFOs, and Managers of companies earn higher than most other people on the company's chain of command? Well, its not necessarily because they are higher in the chain. Its because they are the ones who use their brains. Those in the lower chain just only act mindlessly carrying out the plans and processes of the top men. On rare occasions, you see someone on the lower chain thinking hard. When that happens, he/she is usually promoted quickly.
A smart person is said to be one who
has or shows a quick-witted intelligence.
DICTIONARY.COM
Did you see that word? "Quick-witted!" That's the most important word in that definition.
That work which is done on projects or things that are most likely to succeed in the best time and with the best methods.
When you succeed with smartwork, people generally ask you "how come you made it this fast?"
Always aim to do smartwork coz it pays! Hardwork doesn't pay!
Just Take a look at this quote:
YOUR SWEAT WILL PUT FOOD ON YOUR TABLE BUT YOUR BRAIN WILL PUT FOOD ON EVERYBODY'S TABLE
Your aim should always be to "put food on everybody's table" Listen! You cannot excel in this world by being selfish. Perhaps you may win for a little while but eventually, you lose out. People should be your most priced asset not things. With human resources by your side, you can get any material resource you need to excel in your endeavours.
This is one of the worst mistakes people aiming for success make. Not having a plan is tantamount to ideological suicide.
S - Specific
M - Measurable
A - Achievable
R - Realistic
T - Time-Bound
So many people misfire literally. They have a gun/arrow but they can't kill a fly. You know why? They haven't chosen the right target.
Two hunters who have equal skill set and the same size of guns/arrows decided to hunt for animals. One shot at a pigeon, the other one shot at a deer. Who do you think is most likely to bring home some meat today?
That's how the road to success is too. You must choose your targets wisely and put in work on it. Don't just fire in every direction like a crazy hunter. You won't kill anything that way my friend. Except by luck. And lucks are not repeatable. They just happen once like a flash in the pan.
You need to be able to replicate success over and over and over again.
Hmmm! This is one thing that many people don't have. PATIENCE & CONSISTENCY!
Imagine a person running a marathon who doesn't have endurance. He/she is bound to fail. Its by enduring that we achieve long-lasting success.
Patience shows your willingness to continue persevering despite the things that you see not working well for you at the moment. You look beyond the moment and keep working because your eyes are on the goals.
I remain me, my mouth & eye @nairadaddy aka SteemDaddy. My aim is to leave you better than I find you everyday!
