So yesterday I made a post and published but it went out only on Steemit, and I wondered what was happening, am I doing something wrong, but then I got to know that Hive had not gone live as yet when I published. So officially this is my very first post on Hive.
It is going to take some time till Hive starts functioning at it's highest capacity but that's ok, we need to have patience since teething issues are surely going to be there. It is exciting to start a new journey. While I understand that Hive will be all full of steemians, but to an extent everyone had got very comfortable there. People had set auto votes, the supporting sites were easy access, it was all like a routine. I am sure it's not going to take very long to get accustomed to Hive and smoothen out things. Patience is the key. We should not start comparing the 2 and find faults in comparison. I read a couple of comments where people have been talking about images not getting uploaded, unable to access wallet and some others, but it's all fine. There are some people working behind the scenes tirelessly and we need to applaud their hard work to bring up Hive rather then focusing on what's still not there.
I mentioned earlier also that I am not quitting Steem for now, I want to give it some time and then take my decision. It is very easy to criticize but we should not forget that we have enjoyed Steem for a long time and it would not be very good to run it down in any way. It's the problem with the people dealing with it now and not of the platform. As it is so rightly said in an Organizational structure that People leave their jobs for the people around and not for the company. Similar things have happened with Steem. We are uncomfortable with the new bosses of Steem and hence we have decided this big move. I hope we do not ever get to see such a day in Hive.
