First of all let me start by congratulating the @LadiesofHive community on the completion of 3 years. Happy Anniversary Ladies. 3 years is a long journey and it takes a lot of effort to keep a community running with active participation this long. A big applaud to the community founder Lita - @silversaver888 for her zeal to continue and a big shout out to
@thekittygirl who stands like a pillar for this community. For any community to function smoothly it is important to delegate activit茅s and that's what Lita has been able to do efficiently. Moderator roles are well spread out so that there is no burden on any one person.
Btw I am a week late in wishing, but better late then never.
Some months back when Lita reached out to me for the moderator role, I was skeptical. With my hectic schedule I was not sure if I would be able to do justice to the role. I told her, I will give it a try for 3 months and those 3 months then became 6 and now 9 and I am sure it will continue more.
For any community to be successful active engagement is important and that's what leads to success for this community. Every week in the community contest there are 2 questions put up for participants to choose and respond and we see overwhelming responses. We receive a minimum of 30 to 40 responses for every contest. I remember my first contest that I hosted received more then 60 entries and it was a challenge for me to cope up with, but I did it. For every moderator who runs the contest, for them it's a task, they whole heartedly dedicate their week to the contest by reading out every single blog, responding to them and then picking up winners from those entries. A huge number to judge and it does get complicated. Well it is all done so smoothly by every moderator. There is never a skip or delay in any activity. The schedule is set well in advanced and informed to the moderators so that they can set their calendars accordingly.
Besides this the Discord server which is being supported by @thekittygirl is also one place where there is good level of engagement in the community.
All I can say is this is collective Women Power which leads to the success of our community. I wish more power and success to the community and hope that it continues with the same zeal for many more years to come.
