Rain in the Middle East region seems as joyful as finding a Pearl in the Ocean. Today morning when I got up, it was a surprise, because it was raining. The last time it rained in Muscat was in Dec 2019, I remember this very clearly because that was the day I was travelling to India. So to look at it, it's been 1 and a half years that it's not rained in the City. It does rain in other parts of Oman, but Muscat barely sees some rains, specially the year of 2020 was completely dry. I love the rain, for hours I can sit and watch. It rains a little bit and it delights me.
Today morning when I woke up and saw that it's raining, it was a very happy feeling. I wanted to laze around and spend my time at the balcony, but then I had to get to work today, so had no choice but to get going with the day.
This is the morning view from my Balcony. Normally this mountain looks dry and hard, today the feeling is different, it's giving out warmth and softness. Maybe it feels exaggerated, but that always happens when you love something, you feel a connection with it.
When I came down to my building, this is what I saw. This is the result of an hour of rain, and not heavy rains, just a little more than drizzle. Since it does not rain here, the infrastructure does not support this season, hence even a little rain and there are puddles of water in small streets.
The drive to work was pleasant, normally it is scorching hot, this is a breather.
After a beautiful morning and a pleasant drive through the mountains, time to get back to work.
Today's day is all about meetings, and since it's the last day of the week, in the evening I look forward to going to the Beach and enjoying the weather.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
