The 3 weeks India stay comes to an end and it's time to travel back to Muscat. The up and down between the 2 countries is a part of life now and not sure how long it will continue this way. As such I kind of enjoy this, having a little of both the worlds. Both are contrasting countries; one gives a super hectic lifestyle whereas the other is extremely calm and quiet. It's a balancing act for me travelling between these 2 cities.
The most I miss when I am gone from here is my holiday home, it is one place where I am in bliss and I feel complete. I love the silence out here, every single thing here is created by me, from the walls to the windows and the furniture to the home decor, everything is my design so all the more I feel very attached to it. The most is the views out here, which are truly magical and I can never say it's enough.
Especially monsoon season, morning when I wake up, I have views like these, it feels like transported into another world. And my evening walks with sounds of nature around feel the best music to my ears.
As I have mentioned that this holiday home is also my business, I rent it for short stays, like Airbnb. I need to keep maintaining it. Whenever I do not have any guest, I hop in here, even if it is just for a day. It's a 2-hour drive from my city home, does not feel much.
The evening walk is the best activity of the day. During monsoon I do not venture out deep because there is likelihood of snakes being there. I wear boots and go out if I have to.
It's not going to be long till I am back again here, end of October I am already planning to visit. The only thing is that monsoon will be over by then and some of the greenery will go away. But still the views will be there, and be it any season it always feels magical to me.
