I am not sure of the right word for her is. She is my husband's daughter's half-sister but when we would have his daughter for the weekend or even weeks at a time we also took her sister with us even when we would go camping on one of the islands for a week. I could never tell her that she was not welcomed. I really feel as if she is one of my children, as I do his daughter. She also works in healthcare and she was caring for an elderly woman who had a daughter that was not doing right, drugs, this woman had a child. She let (my daughter) take him home to care for him since her mother could not care for him. I never asked for the details but (my daughter) has had him for 15 or 16 years now. She has never had a child of her own and considers him her child, he knows the circumstances of her not being his true mom but to him she is.
Last night she took him to his first concert, I have not heard of the bands that were playing Korn and Straind, but they had an awesome time and that is all that matters. I am too old to be saying cool beans but that is what I think of it....
Today the outboard mechanic came to my house to look at my motor. I told him that last year I replaced the trigger, that this was the only new part on it. At first, he was set on it being fuel-related. He said that there has to be a clog in the low-speed jet on the carburetor. I told him how I cleaned it and blew it out with the compressor and he still thought it was the carburetor. After messing with it more he changed his mind, now he says it is the trigger. The trigger is the only part that moves, other than throttle and gear cables.
After my husband came home we pulled the flywheel and Monday I will take the trigger to the outboard shop that we bought it from and beg them to test it. If it is bad, I will buy a new one from them.
My husband went to work today but could not work. We had a lot of rain yesterday and it flooded the field that he has been discing. It sounds so funny to me to say he went to work instead of went fishing.
