Once upon a time, in my local church, we had a very tall coconut tree that threatened the church building. When it rains, it dangles around the church in a terrible way that always makes people think it may cave in and destroy the building.

One day, at the building committee's meeting, many suggestions were made about how to fell the coconut tree. Some said professional tree fellers should be contacted; others suggested setting it ablaze, while an elderly man raised his hands to suggest that the tree could be felled without endangering the church building.

The man was asked to share his view, and he said, “The last time we had a meeting at the district, a young man suggested we use a poison to fell the tree. Where is it? A certain sum was released for the purchase; if the purchase has been made, inject the poison and let the tree cave in. Is it until we lose the church building to a tree? Or is it until the tree causes some havoc that we will fell it?

At that juncture, as everybody woke from a deep slumber, the next Saturday, the young man bought and injected the poison into the tree. However, things turned around and the tree didn't cave in; it even started growing healthier. To date, the puzzle continued: how to fell the tree, as injecting the poison couldn't help.
