This Splinterlands Guide focuses on the Equalizer Ruleset. It explains the mechanics of this rulesets. How it works? Which abilities are recommended to use? How to increase winrate? I going to show you my favorite strategies to take up against it. Check it out!
The mechanics of the equalizer rule is simple. All monsters on the battlefield takes the highest base health of any monster on either side of the battle and makes the health equal. Simple? So when you know that HP of all monster is equal, you should use monster win low HP in order to get benefits from Equalizer Ruleset. Let's check my monsters below.
All of my monsters have low HP between 1 and 4. This means that every monsters of both teams in a battle will get the health equal to that monster with the highest health. You can find below the picture after submitting teams. My opponent used Pelacor Mercenary with 9 HP, as a resul all monsters on both sides have the same amount of health. The main difference is that, he used his cost of mana to use this monster. I spread my cost of mana among all the monsters with low HP but strong attack.
This health can then be further modified by buffs from summoners (Tarsa or Mother Khala) and debuffs like summoner Thaddius Brood. I used Tarsa summoner, so my monsters gain 1 HP and 1 attack buffs.
Remember! Your monsters can have higher HP than your opponent if you use abilities (Strengthen and Weaken).

Remember! You want to take advantage from cards who's ONLY weakness is low health point.
I am going to present you list with the best abilities that can yhelp you win the battle. I also include link to battles so you can watch it online.
Restores some armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage. It is very helpful to keep your tank for very long time. As a result your backline monsters can make tons of damage. If you use monster with Armor and Void Armor then he can takes both magic and physical attacks.

This is very simple strategy. If you know that all monster have the same amount of HP, the best is to focus on one one monster. If you choose strong attack monster, then they can easly make more damage than your opponent can repair or heal.

Tank heal restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round. In this ruleset it work pretty good. The higher the amount of HP the more you can heal. You can restores 1/3 of the max health, rounded up. As you can see in the picture below, my Cruel Sethropod has 11 HP, then he can be heald by 4 HP each round. That's more than my opponent can make.

The worst you can do is spread your attacks among all monsters. I prepared picture below to show you this mistake. My opponent chose sneak ,snipe monsters. As a result he wasted so many attacks to hit 3 my monsters instead of one.

Every monsters of both teams in a battle will get the health equal to that monster with the highest health. That's why it is better to use full low mana team and gain extra free high HP from your opponent monster.

Life Leech - Monster's health increases each time it damages an enemy Monster's health in proportion to the damage dealt
Scavenger - Gains 1 max health each time any monster dies
It is recommended to use monster with Life Leech & Scavenger. You can increase your HP even higher with these abilities. The best place to use is somewhere in the middle or at the end. The longer they are on the battlefield the more HP they can get.
