This Splinterlands Guide deals with Lost Legendaries Ruleset. This is very easy ruleset to explain, you can use any card in your deck except Legendary. As a result, the only choice are Epic, Rare and Common monsters. Which splinter offer the best cards from these rariteis? Check it out below.
Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles. This rule is as simple as this. How to overcome your opponents? Mainly you need to use splinter that have the best common, rare and epic cards. You may also consider to take your favorite splinter and use line up that works the best for you. I love to play Water Splinter from Chaos Legion edition. My the best tank is Keyla Frendul. This summoner gives +1 Speed and Armor. It has the best win rate in all leagues from Bronze to Champion.
Strenght: This is my the best tank in the Water Splinter. It has huge amount of HP and Armor. In addition, Diemonsharkhas three abilities:
Weakness: Diemonshark can be easily damaged by magic. You can avoid that, when you use Wave Brood with Taunt ability.
Strenght: This card has many protective abilities against magic and range attacks. In addition huge amount of HP. As a result can survive many attacks. This is the best card to pair with Diemonshark. If you place these two cards together then, you don't need to worry about any type of attacks. Wave Brood abilities are presented below:
Weakness: This card needs lots of support cards with Triage to survive longer. If you don't have Triage monsters, then this card can be easily killed.
Strenght: This is the best support card from Water Splinter. It has two powerful abilities that can help your Wave Brood:
Weakness: I don't see any weakness of these card. For 3 mana cost It has asome abilities, huge amount of health point and 2 range attack at max level.
I am going to use my Keyla Frendul as a Summoner for this battle. In addition three of my the best monster needs to be in my deck. This is 58 mana cost battle, so I can use high mana monster to fill rest of my team. I used Flying Squid with Reach ability to make melee attacks from second row. In adition, he has Blind ability that increase chance to dodge attacks. Two other monsters are magic attackers to make different types of attacks. My the best trio are melee and rangers.
As you can see my opponent has strong magic monster. As a result my Wave Brood can takes these attacks. After first round he still have 12 HP. This means Wave Brood can survive about 6 rounds of damage. Rest of my team still have full HP because no one can attack them. Diemonshark can take damage but only from opponent tank. Usually tank has melee damage, so first need to destroy armor to make direct damage to HP. In round 2 my opponent tank is defeated. He still have two support tank to use.
Another tank of my opponent side is dead. I still have Wave Brood with 6 HP and my tank with full 10 HP and 5 Armor. As long as my Wave Brood is alive, I don't need to worry about my tank Diemonshark. In addition, Angelic Mandarin use Traige each round and heals my back line monster.
It should be easy now. My opponent don't have any strong tank on the battlefield. As you can see my trio monsters (Diemonshark, Wave Brood and Angelic Mandarin) work perfectly. Mainly due to abilities that work very good together.
One more monster left on the battlefield. Thank you for the nice match. Last two hits and the battle is over. My opponent used strong summoner that buffs magic. My tank can be easily defeted by magic but Wave Brood saved his life. If I would use different card from "trio", I would probably loose this match.
