When we reached this place in Thailand, it was not only the place itself that attracted my attention but also the forms that one could see there. First of all, I was struck by the sight of ship masts that stood like needles on the sea surface. There is always a lesson about photography behind such scenes, and this one also gave me something to think about afterwards. Those vertical lines created a fantastic contrast with the horizon line
while the former signifies power and firmness, the latter represents tranquillity and peacefulness. The ships tied to the pier were a perfect link between them, and I find this picture very meaningful. When the sea takes care of boats, giving them a place to rest, these two elements – the sea and the ships – become equal in some way. This is what I try to capture in the moments I take a picture – the calmness and peace of being in a known and reliable place.

I processed this photograph in such a way that highlights the relationship between the sea and the ships, which, as I have mentioned before, is the major point of this picture. As always, I am curious about your opinions which version do you like better?

Do you see patterns in nature, or do you prefer to focus on the objects that people create? I would be glad to read your comments below!

Love U all❤️
