There is a city in Iran famous for their extreme frugality.
Until I went to India and went on a tour with some people from this city (called Isfahan), I really did not believe it. Though I have met people from Isfahan previously and they were definitely not cheap.
But on this trip to India I came across the most miserly people ever!
Whilst it's perfectly fine to be frugal and budget your money, while we were on the road from Agra to Jaipur it really took it to another level as it was extremely hot.
We stopped at a roadside restaurant to take a break from our tour bus.
The bus was cool inside due to the air conditioning however outside the heat was unbearable. The rest of us went into the restaurant to get some drinks/food we wanted whilst we were there. However these people would not go inside even to get a cup of tea!
Whenever going travelling I think it is a good idea to have the amount of cash with you equal to or double the amount you paid for your tour package. This way you can really enjoy the local cuisine, drinks and fun activities.
Sometimes we forget why we work and save our money, it's to enjoy it! We can get caught up in the money game like we do in monopoly.
This picture shows a palace located right in the middle of a lake in Jaipur. The name of the palace is Jal Mahal.
I have edited these pictures once again using my current software. I have been focusing on adding the 32-bit colour pipeline to ensure the best colour quality when exporting. I have also added some unique features to allow for fine art editing.
