A bright morning led me to a place that always holds its own story: the area where fishing boats dock.
Under the scorching sun, the scene was already bustling with activity. Blue and black jerrycans were neatly arranged, with some being transported by carts and motorcycles. Nearby, fishing boats lined up, waiting for the moment to head back out to sea.
Such a sight might seem ordinary, but for the fishermen, this place is a vital part of their lives. Every departing boat carries the hope of a bountiful catch. It involves hard work, risk, and patience elements not always visible from afar.
I was also drawn to the colorful fishing boats, which stood out vividly against the blue sky. The Red and White flag fluttering atop the fuel station added a touch that made the atmosphere feel distinctly Indonesian.
Observing these activities reminded me that life unfolds through many simple forms of work. Some head out to sea, others prepare supplies, some transport goods, and others await the fruits of the day's hard labor.
I captured this photo to tell a small story about life around the fishing harbor a story of work, struggle, and hope that keeps moving forward every day.
Note: I am writing in Indonesian and using the help of Google translate to translate into English.
