Lil works at one of the top music academies in Buskeria. She is none other than the lead vocal coach. In her position, she has had the opportunity to teach singing to countless students. Many of them have gone on to become renowned singers and achieve great success. She often receives visits from many of them who want to thank her for her excellent instruction. Without her, they wouldn't have achieved anything. Lil is known for her dedication to teaching; she remains patient even with the least advanced students. Her goal is for everyone to learn, and if someone falls behind, she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to helping them.
At the academy, she has received numerous awards for her dedication to her work. She is a role model for the entire faculty of music teachers. But the curious thing about her case is that despite having taught so many people to sing, practicing so much, and knowing all the concepts, she herself has never sung for herself. It's quite ironic. She actually became a teacher by accident because her goal was to be a singer, but the school where she studied needed someone to teach, and since she herself had been a high-achieving student, she got the job. It all started when she covered for a teacher who couldn't come in because she was sick, and since they didn't want the students to go home without having their classes, she filled in for her.
After that experience, she volunteered in case the same thing happened again, and one thing led to another, and she ended up working at the academy. She later earned her degree and became the teacher everyone knows. Although she greatly enjoys teaching, she always carried that emptiness inside because she hadn't followed her initial ideals. But it didn't matter anymore; she was well-positioned and comfortable in her work, so she never had the strength to make any changes. Her decision to stay where she was didn't mean she was happy. Often, when one of her students achieved musical success, she had mixed emotions: on the one hand, immense happiness because her teaching had paid off, but on the other, she saw herself in that person; she could have been a singer herself.
Recently, at the end of a class, all the graduating students were leaving the classroom, but a student named Federica saw her with her head down and looking a little sad. So she asked her if she was alright. The two got along very well, so Lil told her about her experience and how she was feeling. Federica asked her why she didn't follow her desire if she wanted it so badly. Lil explained that it wasn't a lack of desire; she already had a solid and established career, and it wasn't easy to start from scratch and seek success in the music world.
At that moment, the conversation was interrupted by the school bell, but before leaving, Federica told her that sometimes life goals require rejecting comforts or force us out of our comfort zone, but when you achieve what you want, all the sacrifice is worth it. After that, she left. Lil laughed a little because she found it amusing that Federica, her former student, was giving her advice, but sometimes a person's age or position doesn't matter when the advice they give is valid, and what Fede had said was absolutely right. When Lil got home that day, she lay down on her bed, thinking about that conversation that had left her pondering. She wondered, what if Fede was right? She got out of bed and started looking through a photo album from her own school days. She saw her former classmates in the pictures; most of them were now famous singers, but she had fallen behind.
Although she had long enjoyed a job, she realized she wasn't where she truly wanted to be. She had postponed for too long something she should have done from the start: be a singer, but not behind the scenes; she was meant to be the center of attention. Things were about to change.
