Hello Hiveians.
After a very long working hours yesterday, i got the ankara fabric with lovely pattern i was to design into skirt and blouse for my customer.
Working and learning altogether as an apprentice is not all that easy as i must be commited to to do all my bosses jobs alongside doing my own personal jobs. There is just little at a time i can do for me.
Most times i do the cutting of a cloth in a day and look forward to do the sewing and finishing in other days.
After taking out measurement and setting things right, i plunged into cutting the panel skirt first
The measurements i took of my customer below.
Transfer of measurements into fabrics.
Most times i like to do a free hand paper illustration so anyone viewing this post can get an idea of what i have done above
Nice cutting out of panels, here is the center front piece of my six panels
The center front was then used to cut other pieces, the table wasnt big enough so i moved to the floor to complete cutting my skirt.
A hip curve to get the hip shape.
