Hello Hive

It's a long moment of reflection for me this morning as I was going through my gallery and seeing all the beautiful wear I was able to design this year. They are all so colorful and bright.
I didn't know what to expect when the year started but I already wished that by now I would have gotten started with my own boutique store but fate had its way. I'm not giving up on that dream having seen the massive progress and improvement I have achieved with my sewing skills over the years.

I have now grown from someone who is usually so scared of holding scissors to one who makes fearless cuts now. The fear of cutting fabrics wrongly was always, while I was an apprentice I did damaged a few clothes beyond repair and that made me almost give up on this fashion Journey. I wouldn't cut any clothes on my own unless I had a fellow design by my side to cross-check by measurements and boost my confidence.

I didn't give up
I refused to give up on sewing.
My late mum's machine is always here and I wanted to make her happy. Today I can finally say that I fulfilled her dreams of becoming a tailor. She has hoped that someday, someone will take after her.

I'm happy that even friends can now smile and find satisfaction in the outfits I sew for them.

My baby sister who loves to slay too os finding joy rocking all the dress designs I make for her.

Another highlight for me is the dress design I made for a upcoming bride. My friend here was my modem for the outfit. I have saved the brided beautiful picture in her attire somewhere but couldn't locate it. I didn't believe that I would make something worth wearing for a bride. But I'm glad I did, now I can sew many more like it.

With fashion, your skill can only get better if you sew and practice more. I had one of the slowest sewing journey, not giving up is the reason I have the massive results today.

I'm so happy and also want to encourage my new friends on this path for, it can only get better and even if you only wish to sew for yourself and make a habit of it

Just don't even, even after making mistakes, keep at it.
Some mistakes taught me some lessons about sewing, so don't feel bad about them.

I can't wait to see how many more designs I will be able to accomplish before the year ends. I wish all my seamstresses and creative mids here
a fun-filled sewing journey.
