A beautiful morning to my beloved diy friends and the community. I trust that you are all doing well and having a good time. It is another day to show up and trust that we would make good success in our endeavors. Consistency pays and if you don't give up whatever your dream may be, they will some day come to live. My hope is always alive and regardless I know that someday my voice will be heard
The day is coming up pretty sluggish for me, I really hate being sick. It sucks up all my energy even without doing any work. Lately we haven't entered the farm, I'm just praying that I will gather as much energy as possible to be able to visit the farm tomorrow.
In the mean time I don't want to remain idle all day, instead I am dragging around putting finishing touches to some patch sewing work I'm doing and getting as much rest in between.
While I was hoping that I will make it to church last Sunday I sewed this colorful reversible berret before I eventually couldn't make it.
I was inspired to sew a colorful beret hat that can fit with many of my dresses because of color match. Every now and then we are always looking for what color of hair cover to match with the outfit we wear, then I thought about this idea and decided to create it.
To make things easy I took a colorful fabric with several color to match any wear.
To make the beret you need to cut out 4pieces of circles/flair of about 12" width from one edge to another.
Two of the fabric pieces will be opened at the middle together with soft warden.
Next is sewing.
Stitch all the berret pieces together and the one that will serve as the inner linings together as well.
You will have two pieces like this.
Then insert one into the other turning then wrong side to wrong side.
Using thesame fabrics makes it easily reversible. One can wear either the inside or the outside of the fabric at any point in time.
Having done that you stich on the round head part to secure the edges
That completed and the berret is all ready for use. Imagine the numbers of colors on the cap and the number of wear it can match with. I'm sure my berret lovers will like this idea.
