Hello Hive

How are we all doing this blessed Sunday. I hope that someone has had as much rest this day, imagine how some minutes of nap now turned into
hours of sleep for me. I usually take a nap after every Sunday services, most times this is done deliberately just to calm my head.

You can imagine that the journey from the house to the church and back every Sunday often gets me dizzy, it's the symptoms of Motion sickness which I really suffer badly from. Taking an ordinary cab from one place to another has to be thought through, well planned and prepared for while I make a little room for how to rest my head from the dizziness and woozy feelings afterwards. I had wanted to rest my head this afternoon before this body succumbed to some good hours of sleep.

Having woken up I was able to put together this peplum blouse for an expectant mother, the last piece of the wear I wanted go make for her.

Take a look at these 3fabrics she has brought above you will see that I have been able to sew them into their respective comfortable wear for any pregnant woman.

She left me to decide on the designs to make of the three wears.

Having carefully thought of the quantity of fabrics and what each can sew, you can see the outcome here.

I have just finished sewing the peoplum blouse. The fabric was only a meter and half hence I had to sew it into a blouse rather than a dress. The best form of blouse for an expectant mother is definitely a peopluk blouse.

Here is the making process of the blouse

  • Cutting the upper bodice, lining and flair

1000360671.jpg

Using her bodice measurements, measure out the shoulder, bust and waist line measurements.

1000360673.jpg

The necklines is a normal basic neckline of 3/3

1000360655.jpg

The linings are also cut in similar manner.

  • Sewing

1000360664.jpg

For the sewing, turn the necklines with the linings

1000360668.jpg

Pick out a basic waist dart.

Close the side seam allowances

1000360657.jpg

1000360647.jpg

Cut and attached the sleeves, flair and zipper.

These all stitched together and our outfits is ready. Tomorrow is delivery ocloc and after 3long weeks I was able to finish her wear. Something I couje have done in two days if I weren't busy for other engagements.
