Hmm 🤔 how interesting that im coming on here and ecency says “tell your story”… yes! I will, it is more than à story but somethings that has been on my mind for a while and silmutaenously encapsulates a lot of stories that’s happened in the past.
Now, have you ever finished a conversation and thought everything was perfectly normal, only to start analysing it hours later?… Thats exactly what I’m talking about, I know that many of us would have faced such issues or similar things in the past and for me it keeps happening repeatedly, its now like a new phenomenon for me that I can’t get my mind off conversations hours after they happen, do you even think that’s bad or good?
Sometimes I lay on my bed to rest and shut my mind but suddenly I remember something I said in a conversation and wonder whether it sounded stupid, I want to believe I am not alone in this, in some cases i go as far as replaying someone’s facial expression for reasons I can’t tell, just to keep pondering on the conversations and events.

In that moment of rest is when we start thinking maybe their short reply meant something else or the facial expressions and gestures are something else, then you rewrite the conversation in your head and imagine all the things you should have said differently. For me it happens like à script, there’s this same kind of routine that happens where I get to assimilate and ponder about conversations until I come to settle with my self if I have done bad or good, leaving me with either a choice of changing or to do better.
Sometimes this situation doesn’t have to be 2 sided or involve the both parties, that’s ts why funny thing is that the other person may have completely forgotten about the conversation but we remain there hovering around and pondering on it just to make ourselves become better ❤️.
Now this is not a bad thing, to me I think it occurs because we experience our own behaviour from the inside, that’s why we hear every word we say, notice every mistake we make and feel every moment of uncertainty. This attitude is very good as it helps us become better, it’s something that we should encourage that’s why when we look at other people, we don’t have access to all of that internal information, we only see the outside and judge based on what they show.
This can create the illusion that everyone is paying as much attention to us as we are paying to ourselves but it is not true, sometimes we are just being overthinkers because most people are busy thinking about their own lives, worrying about their own problems, wondering how they came across and thinking about what they need to do tomorrow but still ot regardless that doesn’t mean nobody judges us, but it does mean that we often exaggerate how long other people remember our mistakes.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do after a conversation is simply let it be over.
Thank you for stopping by ❤️🙏💐
