Hola a todos los que siguen esta hermosa ¨Threespeak-Community¨: Que alegría que hayamos tenido tiempo y, junto a mi abuela, hacer otro video para comentarles una cosa que sucedió hace algunas semanas en la escuela. Resulta que, a causa de que unos alumnos de la escuela terminamos todos castigados.

Les había comentado que este año nos habían permitido llevar el teléfono móvil a la escuela para hacer algunas consultas de estudios en la web; todo venía bien hasta hace algunas semanas, que de un día para el otro prohibieron que lleváramos el teléfono a la escuela; al principio no sabíamos cuál era la razón hasta que nos enteramos a través de nuestros padres.

I had mentioned that this year we were allowed to bring our cell phones to school to do some research online; Everything was fine until a few weeks ago, when suddenly they banned us from bringing our phones to school; at first we didn't know why until we found out from our parents.

En la escuela se convocó a una reunión de padres; para informar lo que había sucedido y por qué se determinó que los alumnos no lleváramos más los teléfonos. Resulta que unos alumnos de sexto grado, aprovechando la hora del recreo, celebraron un casamiento que se compartió en las ¨redes-sociales¨. Esto llegó a las autoridades y fue la razón de prohibir estos eventos y el uso del celular en el colegio. La verdad es un hecho que nos avergonzó a todos, especialmente a las niñas del colegio. Lo peor es que, por el mal comportamiento de unos pocos, terminamos todos castigados sin poder usar una herramienta de estudio que era de utilidad.

A parents' meeting was called at school to explain what had happened and why it was decided that students could no longer bring their phones. It turns out that some sixth-grade students, taking advantage of recess, got married and shared the photos on social media. This reached the school authorities, and that was the reason for prohibiting these events and the use of cell phones at school. The truth is, it was an embarrassing incident for all of us, especially the girls. The worst part is that, because of the bad behavior of a few, we all ended up being punished by not being able to use a useful study tool.
